About us

OSSOM strives to provide exceptional clothing and accessories for women. The hallmark of OSSOM is to create affordable, high-quality and unique outfits to inspire every woman look and feel special and confident. At OSSOM every piece is made with love using natural fabrics, bright prints and simple comfortable styles.

Brand OSSOM started as a hobby and became something way bigger - it’s philosophy, it’s lifestyle. It is a story about respect to each woman in their diversity and about respect to Mother Earth. Each garment by OSSOM is ethically produced by people who love their work and we believe that our customers can feel it. With our collection we stick to slow fashion movement - we believe that style is something  not related to seasons and trends - core of OSSOM is basic pieces, things which will always be in favour!

Less is more we say - being sustainable for us start from choosing high quality fabrics - we source our fabrics all over the world in order to maximise both uniqueness and quality, controlling volumes of production by implementation “made to order” concept, reducing amount of manufacturing leftovers and upcycling scraps.

Our biggest passion is to make people beautiful. We always try to help with advice regarding the best style and colour for each body and colour type. Feel free to contact us online and we would love you to visit us at the markets if you are in Darwin - we will find the right outfit for you to look and feel great! We can easily customise an outfit. If you have specific preferences regarding colour or cut - we can easily make it!

OSSOM is a young brand created by Ukrainian designer Olga Bryukhovets who is based in Brisbane, Australia. After being in Fashion for 12 years as a model and working in over 30 countries all around the world, in 2019 Olga decided to share her passion for good clothing and accessories by starting her own brand. Olga’s idea to create beautiful designs for everyday women was born with her son Leo when she had a great deal of time to think about her future. In her search for lovely natural fabrics and fashions to make women beautiful at affordable prices, Olga started to create clothes for herself and her friends. Working solo from home was also a way to be sure to have precious time to spend with little Leo.

Since coming to Australia OSSOM has already developed a following. in 2019 Olga won a prize in the Get It On competition, organised by Injalak Arts – a well-known producer of Aboriginal printed cottons and linens. In 2021 two Olga's entries won in the Frock On! by Ikunjti Artists competition and dresses were showcased as part of Curiosity and the Cloth: IOTA21 exhibition. Olga is honoured to work with the precious hand-printed fabrics from local Aboriginal artists.

For two years in a row brand OSSOM showcases its collections created in collaboration with Tiwi Designs in the Country to Couture Runway Show as part of the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. Collaborating with artist Ilma Ali, Olga created Veins collection - inspired by the silent and serpentine nature of veins in every living organism, collection was showcased as part of Slow Fashion Runway at Brisbane Fashion Month. Olga's creations were on stage of Melbourne Fashion Week and Australian Afterpay Fashion Week in Sydney.
